Getting started

Smash records matches on your Apple Watch — the iPhone app is where you explore them. You'll need an Apple Watch paired to your iPhone, with Smash installed on the wrist you hold your racket in.

  1. Wear your Watch on your racket hand.
  2. Open Smash on the Watch and tap Start Match.
  3. Play. There's nothing to tap during points.
  4. Tap End Match when you're done — it sits under the live stats.

The first time you record, the Watch asks for Health and location access. Both are needed for heart rate, calories, distance and your court movement map.

Common questions

My match didn't appear on my iPhone

Matches transfer when both devices are nearby and unlocked. Open Smash on the iPhone and leave it in the foreground for a moment. If it still hasn't arrived, open the Watch app and check the match finished rather than still recording.

A shot was labelled wrong

Open the match, go to the Shots tab and tap the shot to relabel it. Corrections stick, and they help us improve detection.

Do I need an account?

No. Recording, your Padel Score, stats and history all work without one. An account only adds the social side — following players, kudos, comments and leaderboards — and backs your matches up.

What does Pro include?

Recording is free and unlimited, as are match summaries, your Padel Score, shot mix, heart rate and the social feed. There's no cap on how many matches a free account can keep. Pro adds the deeper reading of any match: shot-by-shot detail with swing paths, the court heatmap, per-match insight, Winning Formula and Head-to-Head.

Managing your subscription

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. To change or cancel, open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the renewal; Pro stays active until the period you've paid for ends.

Reporting someone

Any match or profile can be reported from the menu on its screen, and any player can be blocked from their profile. Reports reach a moderation queue we review daily.

Deleting your data

Settings → Privacy → Export my data downloads everything we hold. To delete your account and all its content, open your profile and choose Delete account — this is immediate and cannot be undone. See our Privacy Policy for what we store and why.

Still stuck?

Email [email protected] and include your iPhone and Watch models, the app version from Settings, and roughly when the match was recorded.
